For over 40 years, Mr. Rosenberg has been representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury and wrongful death cases involving asbestos exposure, products liability, governmental liability, premises liability, auto accidents, medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, business litigation and construction defect cases. His work has resulted in four published opinions and his cases have set legal precedents in asbestos litigation, abuse of discretion by a trial judge, preservation of a minor’s claim against a teacher for sexual abuse, and in obtaining a reversal of a wrongful criminal conviction. In addition, Mr. Rosenberg has extensive litigation experience having settled a wide variety of cases for millions of dollars and having tried a number of court and jury trials and arbitrations resulting in multi- million dollar verdicts and awards.
Mr. Rosenberg previously served as a California Superior Court mediator and arbitrator for over ten years before the program was terminated. He obtained his extensive mediation training from the world-renowned Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University. Mr. Rosenberg is dedicated to mediation because he sees it as a way to empower the parties to a dispute, affording them the opportunity to become more fully involved in decision-making and the ultimate settlement of their case. Mr. Rosenberg understands the emotional and financial toll that litigation can take on the parties involved, as well as the risks and benefits they may face in trial.
Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Rosenberg was a partner at prominent plaintiffs’ personal injury law firms Greene, O’Reilly, Broillet, Paul, Simon, McMillan, Wheeler & Rosenberg and Jacobs, Jacobs & Rosenberg. Mr. Rosenberg also served as Of Counsel to the highly respected defense firm, Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara.
